1 GLOW COLLECTIVE
“Sitting in a Room with Alvin Lucier”
American composer and ‘sound physicist’ Alvin Lucier (1931-2021) explored various acoustic phenomena through his compositions and sound installations, inviting the listener into a fascinating world where time and space seem to disappear and only the essence of sound remains.
In ‘Sitting in a Room with Alvin Lucier ‘ GLOW collective delves into the sound world of Alvin Lucier. To experience the music even more intensely, we invite the audience to make themselves comfortable and lie down, sit or stand where they want. The musicians move among the audience.
After previous musical collaborations within the “Odysseia Ensemble,” “Nadar Ensemble” and “Down the Rabbit Hole” among others, these five musical friends found each other in “GLOW Collective”.
In this new formation they seek the intimacy of chamber music through new, relevant repertoire.
Connection with each other and the audience is at the heart of their existence.
The adventurous line-up of guitars, accordion, cello, flutes and clarinets is unique and creates an unheard-of spectrum of sound and color.
You can hear this in conceptual performances, for which they work intensively together with young creators from different fields.
“Glow Collective” guarantees you a total experience.

2 MIKKO SAVELA & PAUL GRÜNDORFER
A duo project of Paul Gründorfer and Mikko Savela using analog and digital real-time systems connected to high intensity lights.
Following fast evolving processes, actions and movements, this accumulation of inputs generate an immersive abstract experience of the presence of sound and light in the space you are currently in. The focus lies on the sculptural and direct quality of real-time sound. Its an open encounter of the material qualities emerging from real objects and pick-up microphones with the unstable dynamic of digital feedback systems.
