1 MICHAEL|LE GREBIL & EUGENIE DE MEY

Just into-Machaut-nation

Eugénie de Mey and Michaël|le Grébil Liberg collide space-time, rubbing musical molecules together to unveil novel particles. The long and hypnotic lay of the enchanting poet Guillaume De Machault intertwined with the ecstatic music of James Tenney; two circular musics folding time between the 14th and 20th centuries, in an experience of duration at the heart of a sumptuous modal temple of just intonation.

2 GOLEM MECANIQUE

The solo focuses on the personal architecture of a experimental sacred music, fed by an intimate and mystical world, occultism, invented language and contemplative visions. The confusion of voice with instrumental sounds aims to create a dense sound projection initiated by the embroiedery of instrumental and vocal frequencies.

Recent works seek to achieve a blurred sound space, between drone and voice, through a musical polymorphism created by the various drone : voice, sound manipulation, amplified sound of a drone box (a wooden experimental and electriprocessed hurdy- gurdy).

Several albums of the musician were released by Ideologic Organ/Editions Mego, Cloudchamber rec or Distant voices label
